Three new games will join the Xbox Game PassCore lineup next week on April 23. Just last year, Xbox seamlessly transformed its longstanding Xbox Live Gold membership into Xbox Game Pass Core, giving Gold members a new library of 25 games to download at no additional cost, with the promise of more being added to the library over time.
Many of the big titles included in Game Pass Core are Xbox's own first-party games. Titles like Gears 5, Halo 5: Guardians, State of Decay 2, Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice, and Forza Horizon 4 populate the list, with several high-profile Bethesda titles included as well, like Fallout 4, Dishonored 2, and Doom Eternal. The lineup also offers a number of critically acclaimed indie titles, like Firewatch, Dead Cells, Inside, Celeste, and more. Most recently, Chivalry and Totally Reliable Delivery Service joined Core back in December.
As part of a big Game Pass blowout highlighting games that are coming to all tiers of the service by the end of April, Xbox revealed three games that will be added to Game Pass Core on April 23. The sequel to the hit indie time-freezing FPS Superhot: Mind Control Delete will be joined by popular co-op mining action game Deep Rock Galactic and the chaotic car-smashing extravaganza, Wreckfest.
Superhot: Mind Control Delete was first released in 2020 and offers more of the time-bending first-person action its predecessor was known for. Both games are considered must-play for fans of first-person shooters. Unique for encouraging players to smash their cars to smithereens, Wreckfest offers brutal racing game modes that satisfy fans of destructive driving. Finally, Deep Rock Galactic is known for having a notoriously challenging Achievement list, taking some players upwards of 400 hours to complete.
