December is a big month for Game Pass.
By Eddie Makuch on
Microsoft has announced the first set of additions to the Xbox Game Pass catalog for December, and it looks like the subscription service is closing out the year with a bang.
A whopping 12 titles are arriving during the first half of December, led by the surprise-launch of Remnant and Remnant II, which are out now. The original Remnant was previously in the Game Pass library, and now it's returned. The sequel only just launched in July and is also now available to subscribers.

On December 1, the Game Pass library will add the adventure game Spirit of the North and the day-one new release SteamWorld Build. Then on December 5, the catalog adds the slice-'em-up Clone Drone in the Danger Zone and Rise of the Tomb Raider. December 5 also sees the release of the adventure game While the Iron's Hot, another day-one launch into Game Pass. World War Z: Aftermath, which is based on the Brad Pitt movie, comes to Game Pass on December 5 as well.
Goat Simulator 3, a game where you become a goat and wreak havoc, arrives on December 7, followed by the fantasy city builder Against the Storm on December 8. Then the puzzle game Tin Hearts arrives on Game Pass on December 12, with Ubisoft's Far Cry 6 joining the catalog on December 14.
Microsoft normally adds titles to Game Pass across two waves each month, so check back again with GameSpot for the next set of titles later in December.
