All About the Animals
When it comes to these Wiltopia sets, I always base the price on the number of figures you get in the set. For a second, let’s forget that this comes with two kid figures (one boy, one girl), and instead focus on the animals themselves. Obviously, with a set about anteaters there is going to be…anteaters! One large, and one small. The large anteater has a sliding bar beneath the chin that allows you to stick the anteaters tongue out. If you are unaware, anteaters use long tongues to get into the grooves of ant mounds to get delicious treats and dinner. How do I know this? More on that later.
The smaller anteater won’t be much for playing with, but it is really cool that it can be attached to the mother/father anteater on the top of the tail. Also included with this set is a small little lizard that can be played with solo or placed on the sets centre piece.
I expected the anteater set to come with an ant mound, so I was a bit shocked when that wasn’t the case. There are still ants to be had (although they are stickers and not little ants, a slight disappointment) and these ants are going in an out of a ant hill. There are plenty of plants around to give it a good wild feel.
