The movie ends with Captain Marvel helping the Skrulls find a new world, though Talos returns at some point and impersonates Nick Fury at Fury’s request during Spider-Man: Far From Home. That movie’s post-credit scene showed Fury in space while Talos took his place, which could be addressed in Secret Invasion.
