John Cena is not only a WWE legend, but he's been expanding his career further into the film space in recent years, and this includes an unexpected role in this month's Barbie movie.
Cena plays «Kenmaid» in the Barbie movie alongside Margot Robbie as Barbie and Ryan Gosling as Ken. To promote the film, Warner Bros. released a featurette showing Cena topless and in costume, discussing how the audience will walk away from Barbie with a «mixed bag of opinions.»
«When people can get into a fiery debate about something, I think that's good,» Cena, who is sporting a fantastic blonde wig, said.

How did Cena end up in Barbie? Cena explained on The Today Show earlier this year that he happened to run in to Robbie one day and pitched himself to her. «I said, 'I will pretty much do whatever you guys need, 'cause I really enjoy the movie,'» he said. «And they asked me if I wanted to be a merman. I said, 'Yeah, sure.'»
Cena and Robbie previously worked together on The Suicide Squad. Cena is joined by singer Dua Lipa, who plays a Mermaid in Barbie as well.
Barbie releases in theaters on July 21, which is the same day that Christopher Nolan's World War II drama Oppenheimer arrives. The two movies releasing on the same day has inspired the «Barbenheimer» phenomenon, and it's caught enough steam that AMC sold 20,000 tickets to a Barbie-Oppenheimer double feature.
