Secret Invasion A.I. Intro Sequence: Is the Opening Made by A.I. Generation?
The intro sequence is attracting a lot of attention, mostly due to how it appears A.I. generated. Was the Secret Invasion opening generated by A.I. and, if so, why is it so controversial? Here’s the need-to-know info.
Speaking to, the Secret Invasion director and executive producer Ali Selim explained that the opening sequence was designed by Method Studios using artificial intelligence. Selim appeared enthusiastic about the process, saying how the use of A.I. generation gels with “the shape-shifting, Skrull world identity.”
At the time of writing, however, the intro sequence is attracting a lot of negative attention on social media. One of the most notable criticisms comes from Jeff Simpson, who worked on Secret Invasion’s character design. He tweeted that he was “devastated.”

A.I. generation and its threat to human jobs has led to a lot of controversy over the past couple of years. The capabilities of ChatGPT with text and OpenArt with images have expanded rapidly and show no signs of slowing down.
With Disney and Marvel clearly being interested in using A.I. generation techniques to create intro sequences for a Disney Plus show, it’s easy to see how that could be expanded to include future TV shows and even movies.
