is proceeding at full speed on Disney Plus, with Nick Fury busier than ever trying to prevent the Skrulls from taking over Earth. If you watched the latest installment and wonder about that Secret Invasion episode 3 ending, here’s what you need to know.
.
Nick Fury’s wife is talking to someone right before the credits start rolling. The episode didn’t unveil the person’s name, but fans heard it was a man’s voice. When Priscilla (Charlayne Woodard) asked to talk with Gravik, the man on the phone denied her request and stated she must speak with him. Pagon (Killian Scott) might be an educated guess for being the man Priscilla is talking to. Fans will have to wait for another week to find out the answer.
.
Unless writers will come up with a creative solution to keep the character alive, G’iah (Emilia Clarke) looks to be dead at the end of episode 3 after being shot by Gravik. It turned out G’iah was working with her father, Talos (Ben Mendelsohn), all this time (Kingsley Ben-Adir). When Gravik found the Skrull spy, he shot his former ally in the chest. The bullet seemed to have hit a region close to the human heart, but we can’t assume Skrull’s physiology is the same as the human one. Still, the shot looked lethal.
Secret Invasion is the first Marvel Cinematic Universe series of Phase 5, which launched with Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania in February. The show adapts the Marvel Comics storyline of the same name published in 2008, where Skrulls have been infiltrating Earth for years, replacing key individuals, including the Avengers, with Skrull impostors.
