There were many sighs of relief that followed the July 28th Campfire Chat — we saw everything from buffs to Sorcerer, tweaks for abilities and aspects, and a plethora of good news for Sanctuary. One of the side note improvements that people were excited about was Blizzard taking the time to address the issues players have been having with their mounts. While everyone waits for the ability to charge through or over barriers in the open world, console (and PC Controller) players can rejoice in knowing that the Spur ability will now work properly for them! Fixed an issue where the speed increase from the Spur skill while mounted was slower on Controller than Keyboard and Mouse. Fixed an issue where follower NPCs could not function properly in scenarios where players were mounted during Local Co-Op play. Fixed an issue where the Decrepit Aura malignant power wouldn't trigger when mounted. Fixed an issue where Quest objectives could be missed while mounted during the Desperate Remedies quest. Fixed an issue where the Prudent Heart malignant power would not trigger while mounted. Fixed an issue where Cheat Death effects would not trigger if you died while mounted. Fixed an issue where Mount Cosmetics would not properly display if applied while actively mounted.Patch 1.1.1 shows that Blizzard is intent on making the game enjoyable for all players, and hopefully sooner than later we'll be able to jump over those pesky barriers in the open world!
