Wrathful Heart Farm Strategy Nerfed in Patch 1.1.1 - Varshan Quest Encounter Fixed
Players have been trying to find the most effective way to farm Wrathful Malignant Hearts since the launch of Season of the Malignant — after all, these insanely powerful abilities can take the damage of a build up to eleven. However, one loophole to farm them is being closed in Patch 1.1.1, according to Blizzard's official patch notes. Official Patch 1.1.1 Notes Patch 1.1.1, releasing on August 8th, is bringing many changes to the game. One line in the Quest changes, however, means that players will have to go back to farming Wrathful Hearts the old fashioned way:
Fixed an issue where players could repeatedly fight Varshan during the final Seasonal quest by resetting the Dungeon where he spawns.Since Varshan was guaranteed to drop a Wrathful Heart during this quest, many players would chain reset the Dungeon to farm the Heart and rolls they wanted. Back to the drawing board! Level 60+ Boss Health Increased in Patch 1.1.1 Caged Heart of the Barber Fix in Patch 1.1.1
