In a rather unusual crossover moment, there’s now Among Us DLC for Vampire Survivors – yes, really. The ‘Emergency Meeting’ DLC will be released for the game on 18th December on PC and Xbox, with Switch and mobile versions coming soon after.
If you don’t want to wait for a new reason to play the game, then there’s always the Adventures update, which is now live and adds mini-adventures that remix the game’s content for different characters
Vampire Survivors: Emergency meeting twists the Vampire hunting of the reverse bullet hell game in a new direction, throwing in Crewmates, weapons, power-ups and a new stage that have all been inspired by the social deducrion sensation Among Us – It’s like 2020’s biggest indie game and 2022’s biggest indie game came together to have a weird baby.
Emergency Meeting will add 9 characters, 15 weapons, 1 stage, 20 unlocks and a bespoke Adventure, all for the eye-watering sum of £1.99 / $2.49 / €2,49. Eye-watering in that you might cry to see a price that’s positively “micro” when compared to other games.
Speaking of Adventures, the Adventures update is out now across all platforms. This is a free content update that remixes the existing game in new ways around self-contained mini stories. Each Adventure offers a new progression path, so you can feel like you’re starting the game again, but without actually losing your unlocks from the main game.
The update has two Adventures that are free for all players, with one additional tale for the Legacy of the Moonspell DLC right now, and then a further Adventure for the Emergency Meeting DLC.
