The Trade Chat DilemmaThe new profession system has been in place for quite a while now. People are advertising their wares via Trade Chat and spreading the word within their communities. However, the pace at which Trade Chat flows is highly dependent on server population (and faction within that server). Just look at this image below showing the same timeframe snapshot of Trade Chat at the same time of day ... It's clearly not an ideal solution for many, there's either too much spam or too little. Players have a hard time matching up customer and profession master, some even getting reported as a way of discouraging them advertising ..
Hi all, New to professions in Dragonflight and have been enjoying mostly enchanting crests for small but steady profit. I post a friendly message in Trade Chat (not General) every few minutes at peak times, tips are optional, and regardless of tip when I do each enchant I include a message thanking the person for their business. I enchanted ~ 70 crests this week, and everyone was really friendly and nice. So I was surprised to get an automated message from Wow in-game yesterday that I'd «been reported for inappropriate language» since the only people I've talked to in-game this week were the friendly appreciative enchanted crest customers and a few close friends in M+.
