We're living in a post-E3 world, and that means basically everyone is having a crack at putting together video game showcases. The latest of these is the Triple-i Initiative, organised by some of the minds behind Slay the Spire, Dead Cells, and Darkest Dungeon, among others.
So, what is it, exactly? The Triple-i Initiative is a digital showcase with a focus on major indie games and teams. It has a «no-nonsense» approach, which means it'll be solely about the games on show — no hosting segments, no ads, no sponsorships. The result is a 45-minute debut show, which will go live on 10th April, and it'll feature over 30 games.
Announcements include new things from Mega Crit (Slay the Spire), Red Hook Studios (Darkest Dungeon), and Evil Empire (Dead Cells post launch). It sounds like more details will be shared prior to the stream, and you can sign up for updates on the official website.
We'll certainly be watching, but what about you? Are you interested in the Triple-i Initiative? Tell us in the comments section below.
