If you're an Xbox user, or even regularly used one in the past, then you may want to dive into your capture gallery and back up any special gaming moments you may have screenshot or recorded during your time with the system. This is because Xbox seems to be rolling out a new policy next month in which captures that are over 90 days old will be deleted from your system automatically.
According to a post on the Xbox subreddit by user Volcaandsora (thanks Game Rant), Xbox has started sending out notifications to players warning them of the incoming changes. Once May 30 rolls around, every single video or screenshot that has been captured and stored on the Xbox Network that is older than 90 days will be automatically deleted, as Xbox is more than likely attempting to free up server space. We would recommend using something like a USB rather than OneDrive, as free users can only store up to 5GB of data, but it will work in a pinch if you don't have much to save or don't have a big enough USB lying around.
You can also ensure that any future screenshots or recordings you make will be automatically uploaded to a connected USB or OneDrive by fiddling around with your Xbox's system settings. It's fairly simple too, as all you need to do is to make sure you have a USB plugged in and go to "My Games and Apps". You can then head to "Apps", followed by "Captures",
