Our adventures into Dragonflight started with the awaking of the Dracthyr, the Dragon Isles, and the Elements. Primalists released Razsageth from her prison on the Forbidden Reach. Neltharion’s old training grounds, where he was able to build an army away from the spying eyes of his fellow Aspects — even the warden of time, Nozdormu. Only Malygos knew about the dracthyr as he was asked to put them into stasis and keep it a secret from the others. Now those ancient secrets are being uncovered for all to see as, with her demise, the storm placed upon the Forbidden Reach by Razsageth has disappeared. We managed to bring her down, but not before her siblings were released from their prisons…
Return to the Forbidden ReachThere’s a gap in the story when it comes to Neltharion. We know that he became the Aspect of Earth when turned into a Dragon Aspect, and we know that he would eventually fall to the madness of the Old Gods, bringing about a legacy of death and shadow. But there was a road that lead him there — the transformation was not instant, and those details — those secrets — are slowly being revealed, but will mainly play a part in the next major patch. This one is a smaller, in-between one, and instead focuses on building up where we’re going to go next — which is hot on the trail of the Primalists — to where ever Aberrus might be. But for our Dracthyr, this is the first time they get to go back to their creches after rudely waking up to a world completely transformed. With our new allies at our side, we go to work to secure the reach against threats like pirates, naga, leftover guards, and the elements themselves, until we’re ready to move further in with Ebyssian and Scalecommander Emberthal.
