New On Hulu In May 2023: The Great Season 3, Mayans MC Season 5
As May approaches, Hulu is gearing up to unveil an enticing roster of fresh content. Subscribers can anticipate a host of new TV shows and movies, with select titles set to premiere as early as May 1, while others will become available throughout the month.
On May 12, The Great comes back for Season 3. Per an official synopsis of this historical and satirical dramedy series loosely based on the rise to power of Catherine the Great, Catherine and Peter strive to salvage their troubled marriage despite daunting obstacles. Peter grapples with the aftermath of witnessing Catherine's attempted murder and being imprisoned by her, while struggling to find purpose as First Husband. Meanwhile, Catherine expands her influence beyond her borders and organizes a conference to gather input from peasants, nobles, and merchants for the development of Russia. Along the way, both Catherine and Peter face challenges that require tough compromises for the progress of their respective ambitions.
Finally, on May 25, Mayans MC returns for an explosive final season with a two-episode premiere. During the Season 4 finale, EZ invoked a years-old club rule that allowed him to overthrow Santo Padre’s sitting president, Marcus Alvarez. In a twist, EZ then named himself the charter's new president--with Bishop as his veep--and confirmed his intention to strike up a business relationship with drug queenpin Soledad. However, an anonymous arsonist has burned down the warehouse that stored Soledad's substantial heroin supply, and little does EZ know that his new position may put him in even more danger.
