Naughty Dog has released a new patch for The Last of Us Part 1 on PC, fixing several performance issues and bugs. It includes numerous fixes for crashes occurring when swapping between thumbnails of character skins quickly while loading shaders when booting for the first time and randomly.
Texture streaming has also been updated to reduce CPU usage. Increased active loading helps reduce load times during gameplay. An issue that caused the analog sticks on Xbox One and DualSense controllers to not respond is also fixed. The Screen Magnifier should now work, and the Navigation Assistance icon won’t clip through the player model anymore.
