Following the theatrical release of, Euphoria star Sydney Sweeney took to Instagram to share several set photos from the production of Sony Pictures’ newest Spider-Man spin-off.
The Madame Web photos show the Emmy-nominated actress having fun with her co-stars, who are also playing different versions of Spider-Woman. Two of the photos also featured a behind-the-scenes look at Sweeney’s superhero stunts, which included doing Spider-Man’s signature upside-down pose.

Since its theatrical debut, Madame Web has received negative reviews from critics and audiences alike and currently has a lower Tomatometer score on Rotten Tomatoes than 2022’s Morbius. As for its box office performance, the film failed to meet expectations regarding its predicted opening numbers. At the moment, it has earned a worldwide gross of over $51 million against a reported budget of $80 million.
“In a switch from the typical genre, Madame Web tells the standalone origin story of one of Marvel publishing’s most enigmatic heroines,” says the synopsis. “The suspense-driven thriller stars Dakota Johnson as Cassandra Webb, a paramedic in Manhattan who may have clairvoyant abilities. Forced to confront revelations about her past, she forges a relationship with three young women destined for powerful futures... if they can all survive a deadly present.”
Madame Web was directed by S.J. Clarkson from a screenplay written by Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless. The film also stars Dakota Johnson (The Lost Daughter), Celeste O’Connor (Ghostbusters: Afterlife), Isabela Merced (Transformers: The Last Knight), and Emma Roberts (American Horror Story), along with Golden Globe nominee Tahar Rahim, Mike Epps (The Upshaws), and Adam Scott (Severance).
