One Palworld player has recently encountered a peculiar bug that caused them to accidentally engulf an entire island in flames while crashing their game in the process. Their unusual experience adds to the list of known Palworld glitches that the fandom has discovered in recent months.
Pocketpair's hit open-world survival game features 137 Pals in total, all of which fall into one of nine elemental categories. Each group has its own uses, with Fire Pals being crucial for fueling stoves and furnaces, as well as acting as a source of warmth in cold areas, thus being essential for expeditions to the north. One of the best Fire Pals in Palworld is Faleris, a giant bird that kind of resembles an armored falcon.
Reddit user Falisanda_ has recently managed to catch one of these majestic creatures in Palworld, but found themselves surprised when their Faleris ended up scorching an entire island. What exactly transpired is unclear, with the fan merely attributing the incident to a «bugged attack.» They did share a screenshot depicting the aftermath of the unfortunate event in all its fiery horror. The player's brief description of the incident suggests their Faleris performed the attack automatically after it was mounted.

The massive amount of fire effects and whatever environmental damage and XP calculations were being done in the background likely had something to do with that outcome.
Which exact attack led to this situation is unclear. Faleris has no shortage of area-of-effect skills, which get progressively more devastating from level 15 upward. At level 50, this flying mount even learns Fire Ball, a projectile attack that explodes over a fairly large area. But even that skill wouldn't normally affect anything close to the size of the territory that Falisanda_ ended
