A fan of the Pokemon series customized their sneakers to feature Charizard on them. Fans of Game Freak's legendary franchise enjoy displaying their love for the games through the clothing that they wear, and this includes unique Pokemon pieces that are custom made by players with their favorite pocket monsters on them.

The Pokemon Charizard is one of the most popular creatures that has been released in the games. In 2020, The Pokemon Company held a poll to determine the most popular pocket monsters, with the Fire/Flying-Type coming in at number one in the Kanto region and fourth overall. Charizard also has two Mega Evolutions, a unique Gigantamax form, and was a playable character in the Super Smash Bros. series.

A Redditor named RexdoesDesigns shared images of Pokemon shoes that they made. The Converse sneakers feature artwork of Charizard, with each shoe featuring unique renderings of the pocket monster. According to the artist, they used acrylic paint to get a base coat on the sneakers, then used Posca paint markers and fine liners for the details. They then top coated them with a gloss Mod Podge to seal everything in. RexdoesDesigns stated that these shoes were a trial for them and will be a test for when they decide to create more unique sneakers.

RexdoesDesigns' Reddit post has gotten over 500 upvotes so far, helping show that there is a bit of appreciation for the shoes they customized. One commenter stated that they were both impressed and jealous, which led to RexdoesDesigns mentioning that they also want to make sneakers based on Venasaur and Blastoise in order to have a set featuring the Kanto starter Pokemon. Another gamer said that they were going to take some inspiration from the artist and make a custom pair of shoes featuring Gengar. The pieces that RexdoesDesigns created look amazing and are perfect for anyone who enjoys Pokemon.
