The narrative of the anime-style RPG Blue Archive continues with its latest event: “Academy Club Story: A Pair’s Final Adventure.” Released by Nexon Games worldwide in November 2021, Blue Archive is a free-to-play RPG that has received regular updates since its debut.
The game takes place in the city of Kivotos, a sprawling metropolis connecting several academies governed by the students. The player takes on the role of a teacher recently summoned to the Academy to help with the rising unrest in the city. They interact with students both in day-to-day life and during combat missions, where they must strategically command their students to win the day.
The new event will shed some light on the Knowledge Liberation Front, one of the Red Winter Federal Academy clubs dedicated to maintaining the Academy’s library and promoting free access to knowledge. Trouble is brewing in the club as the library faces the mysterious book of misfortune, Luna. Two new students become available to help protect the Knowledge Liberation Front:
Additionally, two other students from the Red Winter Federal Academy, Cherino and Marina, are making their return.
Upon completing the story stages for the event, players gain special event currency . With it, they can obtain special items like Meru’s Interactive Manuscript Work Desk and Momiji’s Classic Library Chair. Players can also use event currency to play minigames in the Event Card Shop and earn rewards. Recruiting new students from Red Winter Federal Academy, the Gehenna Academy Prefect Team and the Trinity General School Library Committee can also help players earn rewards.
