Leia's kidnapping was orchestrated by the Jedi-hunting Inquisitor named Reva a.k.a Third Sister (Moses Ingram) intended to lure Kenobi into a trap, setting the events in motion towards an eventual confrontation between Obi-Wan and Darth Vader.
