Warning! This post contains spoilers for Obi-Wan Kenobi episode 4.
Obi-Wan Kenobi features the former Jedi Council member in a much-weakened state, both in his physical body and his spiritual connection to the Force. The show focuses on Kenobi during his time in hiding between Star Wars: Episode III — Revenge of the Sith and the original Star Wars. In doing so, Kenobi is much out of practice compared to his days in the Clone Wars.
Obi-Wan Kenobi picks up ten years after Revenge of the Sith, with Kenobi watching over Luke Skywalker on Tatooine. However, when Leia Organa is kidnapped by Reva, the Third Sister, to lure Kenobi out of hiding, he returns to the fight to protect Luke's twin sister Leia in Obi-Wan Kenobi. Throughout Kenobi's journey so far, he has been shown as considerably weaker in the Force than what is seen of him in the prequels, with the former Jedi struggling to use it at all unless out of necessity.

The main reason for this is due to Kenobi's long stint in hiding. Again, Kenobi has been in hiding for around ten years, slowly diminishing his connection to the Force. While the Force, and people's abilities with it, are hard to define in Star Wars, it remains the case that the Force acts as any other skill does. For instance, the show features a much weaker Kenobi in terms of his lightsaber ability in Obi-Wan Kenobiepisode 3, as he hasn't used a saber in over a decade. The Force is no different, with Kenobi finding it more difficult to use his abilities due to his lack of training over the past decade.
