Warning: MAJOR SPOILERS for Obi-Wan Kenobi
Obi-Wan Kenobi star Rupert Friend has reacted to a popular Grand Inquisitor fan theory. The latest Star Wars series premiered on May 27 and follows Obi-Wan (Ewan McGregor) as he finds his way back to his Jedi identity 10 years after the events of Star Wars: Episode III — Revenge of the Sith while watching over Luke Skywalker. When the safety of Anakin Skywalker's (Hayden Christensen) other child, Leia Organa, is at risk, Obi-Wan struggles between doing what is right and staying safe from Darth Vader's Inquisitors.

The character first debuted in animation in 2016's Star Wars Rebels, where he became known as the cutthroat, Force-sensitive hunter of Jedi. Following a few tense interactions with fellow Inquisitor Reva (Moses Ingram), the Grand Inquisitor is last seen in episode 2 of the series with a lightsaber run clean through his stomach. The character has yet to make a return, though a popular fan theory suggests that the blade only went through one of his two Pau'an stomachs.
