Star Wars Confirms Kylo Ren is a Deadlier Pilot Than Luke, Han, or Vader
While Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, and Darth Vader have proven themselves to be three of the best and deadliest pilots in the Star Wars universe, they have nothing on Kylo Ren. For years there has been a great debate in the fandom over who is the best pilot of the bunch–with Luke being responsible for blowing up the first Death Star, Han making the Kessel Run in less than twelve parsecs, and Vader having proven his skills as a pilot since The Phantom Menace. But it is actually none of them as Kylo Ren proves to be the best pilot for one specific reason.
Ben Solo earned the title of Kylo Ren after he fled Luke Skywalker’s newly established Jedi Temple after believing that Luke would make an attempt on his life. Luke sensed the dark side within Ben and briefly considered striking him down rather than risk another Sith rising to power. Little did Luke know, Ben had no interest in becoming a Sith, but instead wanted to follow another path laid out for him by the dark side. After he left the destroyed Jedi Temple, Ben Solo tracked down the Knights of Ren and eventually killed their leader, claiming the position for himself and becoming the infamous Kylo Ren.

The comic Star Wars: The Rise of Kylo Ren #1 by Charles Soule and Will Sliney sees Ben accosted by three other Padawans before fleeing Luke's Jedi Temple as it burns to the ground. The three Jedi students accuse Ben of killing Luke Skywalker and burning down the Jedi Temple without even considering the idea that Ben was just trying to defend himself from his murderous teacher.
