Star Wars has finally revealed the location of Luke Skywalker's Jedi Temple — and it's straight from Legends. Luke Skywalker's Jedi Temple was first glimpsed in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, during a flashback in which Rey saw its tragic fate. Tie-in comics later revealed the Jedi Temple was destroyed by Palpatine using a Force Storm, with the Sith Lord engineering events so that Ben Solo took the blame.
The Book of Boba Fett stepped back in time, showing the construction of the temple—and revealing Luke's Jedi Temple was better than the prequels'. It was situated on a mysterious, forested planet, far from the twists and turns of galactic politics; a smart way to ensure the mistakes of the prequel era Jedi were avoided. The temple was nevertheless built by construction droids, presumably loaned from the New Republic because the galactic government knew a strong Jedi Order was in its best interests.
