Much changed in the Star Wars galaxy during the decades that passed between Anakin Skywalker's training in the Jedi Temple and Luke Skywalker's exiling himself to Ahch-To. However, one element that has remained consistent between the different eras is the connection between the Jedi and the old-growth Uneti tree. Most recently, another Uneti tree can also be observed in Star Wars: The Last Jedi, as the home of the remaining Jedi texts Luke was able to recover in his efforts to rebuild the Jedi Order. At the time Luke was located on Ahch-To, home to the first-ever Jedi temple. The presumption is that the tree was previously located at the Jedi Temple on Coruscant, and the remnants recovered by Luke and Shara came from the tree on Ahch-To.
