Warning! Spoilers ahead for Star Wars #24
The latest issue of Marvel Comics' Star Wars exposes a dark truth about Princess Leia and her role in the Rebellion. While fighting her main rival Commander Zahra in the aftermath of Empire Strikes Back, Leia faces a major decision about whether or not she should kill the Imperial leader. As such, Leia's status as one of the galaxy's greatest killers is highlighted in this new issue, connecting her to the last person she'd ever want to have something in common with.
Previously in Marvel's Star Wars, the Rebellion has finally managed to reassemble their fleet after they were scattered following the Battle of Hoth. However, regrouping was easier said than done thanks to the efforts of the Empire's Commander Zahra. A protégé of Grand Moff Tarkin, Zahra was absolutely ruthless in her mission to wipe out the Rebels once and for all, having a deeply personal vendetta against Leia in particular for her role in Tarkin's demise who was on board the first Death Star when the battle station was blown up in A New Hope. However, the Rebellion finally has Zahra on the run after her fleet was destroyed, including her Star Destroyer which she had renamed to be the Tarkin's Will.

Now, Star Wars #24 from Charles Soule, Romon Rosanas, and Madibek Musabekov features Princess Leia and Commander Zahra having their final showdown.
