Obi-Wan Kenobi episode 4 is predictably packed with Star Wars Easter eggs and references — here are the ones we found. Not so long ago, Ewan McGregor's Obi-Wan Kenobi was living happily on Tatooine, chopping up meat, trading with his Jawa friend, and watching Luke Skywalker grow up from afar. Since his Disney+ adventures began, however, Kenobi has been shot at, insulted by a 10-year-old, and bathed in fire by a man he presumed dead… all before the series' halfway mark.
Obi-Wan Kenobi's struggles continue in «Part IV» as the galaxy's grumpiest Jedi embarks on a dangerous mission into the bowels of Fortress Inquisitorious, hunting the captured Princess Leia. Though the rescue is successful, of course, Kenobi pays a heavy toll, and the threat of Darth Vader still looms large after Reva deviously places a tracker inside LO-LA.

Despite the Jedi's stressful few days, «Part IV» remains packed with Obi-Wan Kenobi Easter eggs and references. From Jedi corpse cameos to direct A New Hope parallels, these are the Star Wars Easter eggs Kenobi brings back as souvenirs from Fortress Inquisitorious.
After «Part III» ended with Ewan McGregor's Obi-Wan Kenobi badly burned at the hands of Darth Vader, «Part IV» begins with Tala and her allies submerging the Mapuzo fried Jedi in a bacta tank. These healing chambers have featured throughout the Star Wars franchise in a variety of shapes, but the design seen in Obi-Wan Kenobi episode 4 copies Luke Skywalker's bacta tank in The Empire Strikes Back.
