After years of speculation, rumor and anticipation, Ewan McGregor finally made his Star Wars comeback with a double helping on Disney+. Obi-Wan Kenobi finds its titular Jedi jaded, beaten and resigned to defeat, but when a young Princess Leia is taken prisoner by mercenaries working for Imperial inquisitors, «Ben» is forced to become «Obi-Wan» once more. Traveling to the outlaw haven (yup, another one) of Daiyu, Kenobi rescues Leia, but also learns Anakin Skywalker survived their epic lightsaber battle on Mustafar.
Obi-Wan Kenobi episode 3 picks up in that aftermath of that revelation. The ex-Jedi and a young Princess Leia are desperately running from the ruthless Reva, encountering both scorn and kindness from the locals of a distant mining planet. Though an escape route finally emerges, Kenobi's hope is shattered by a face-to-face encounter with Darth Vader, a mini-rematch between master and student, and some fiery Mustafar payback.
