Concept art of the Beetle, the villain speculated to be featured in Marvel's Spider-Man 2's DLC, was leaked and revealed the character's updated appearance. A release date for Marvel's Spider-Man 2's unconfirmed expansion has not been announced.
Developer Insomniac has suffered from a multitude of leaks in recent months. Most of them stemmed from a ransomware attack late last year when information like Spider-Man 3's villain supposedly being the Green Goblin was revealed. Before, Insomniac had earned praise for its strong villain design, and it seems like that trend will continue with the Beetle.
The previously mentioned leak involving a developer menu also hinted that Spider-Man 2's Beetle will be Janice Lincoln, Tombstone's daughter. This lines up with the comics, in which Janice is the most recent character to take up the Beetle's mantle. However, it should be noted that the information regarding Spider-Man 2 DLC stems from leaks and Insomniac has not officially confirmed its plans for it. But if true, the expansion would presumably include new missions, enemies, and more.
