It continued the adventures of Link and Zelda following the events of 2017’s Breath of the Wild and introduced new mechanics to the series, such as the ability to fuse elements and build vehicles. Tears of the Kingdom was a massive commercial success, selling over 10 million copies three days after its release. This latest installment in The Legend of Zelda series quickly became one of the best-selling games on Nintendo Switch, with fans sharing their adventures across Hyrule and the custom vehicles they built to roam through this land.
To celebrate the upcoming first anniversary of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, Nintendo is reportedly planning to release an official soundtrack for the game. The rumor comes from Nintendo Everything and indicates that Nippon Columbia would allegedly publish this album, which would be available in Japan at the end of July. Fans will have the opportunity to rediscover the songs from Tears of the Kingdom on a standard or limited edition of the official soundtrack. While Nintendo hasn’t confirmed these rumors yet, the company and Nippon Columbia made a similar announcement in 2018 for the first anniversary of Breath of the Wild.
