A Pokemon fan created a regional variant of Remoraid and shared the original concept online. Remoraid can become an Octillery upon reaching level 25, and it is also required for a Mantyke to evolve into Mantine.
Introduced in Pokemon's second generation, Remoraid is a Water-type that appears to be a hybrid between an archerfish and a remora, the latter of which may have been its English namesake. Posting on the Pokemon subreddit, user Poetically_Imperfect shared their concept of a Fairy/Water-type version of Remoraid called Lemoraid. Instead of looking like a gun-shaped fish, this variant of Remoraid instead has the appearance of a bright lemon with eyes and fins. Remoraid's evolution received a similar redesign when another Reddit user created a regional form of Octillery with Water and Steel attributes.

Poetically_Imperfect, who also goes by the name Shroodledoodles, has shared other creations in the past, like a Future Paradox form of Snorlax. Named Iron Screen, the fan-made Normal/Psychic-type takes inspiration from a television screen, and community members naturally compared it to the characters of the iconic British children's series Teletubbies.
Paradox evolutions debuted in the current-generation games, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Future Paradox Pokemon resemble their relatives in the future, while Ancient Paradox Pokemon look like their ancient versions. Among the Paradox Pokemon are the Generation 9 mascots, Koraidon and Miraidon, both of which
