Some Call of Duty: Warzone 2 fans are requesting certain revisions to the game's user interface. With the release of season 2 of Warzone 2, many gamers feel like the information feed being given through the UI is a touch on the overbearing side.
The second season of Warzone 2 launched on February 15, introducing players to an all-new map, Ashika Island, along with the return of the resurgence game mode and a litany of additional tweaks to balance, as well as new cosmetics to purchase or earn. Reception has been positive, however, the new season is not without its flaws. Players have expressed their concerns regarding numerous issues, some pre-existing and some new to the February 15 update, as Infinity Ward continues to take in feedback in preparation for the release of its next patch to Warzone 2.

A Reddit post by soul_system encapsulates the continuing frustration players have toward the direction of Warzone 2's UI. The amount of visual cues cluttering the screens of players has created a sense of confusion and is overwhelming for some. Certain visual cues appear in the same font and placing of others, leading to incorrect assumptions about what the player just accomplished. The armor broken cue and the downed player cue in Warzone 2 are some of the most egregious offenders, with fans lamenting over unfair deaths caused by believing they had downed a player when in actuality they had just broken their armor. The visual clutter also occludes the screen, affecting the ability of players to see the battlefield clearly. In a game that can be as frantic and chaotic as Warzone 2, this over-sharing of information seems like a serious misstep.
