Activision has confirmed it plans to bring back Call of Duty: Warzone 2's popular solo queue for Resurgence following fan frustrations at its removal. It seems like Call of Duty players are frustrated and disappointed with decisions made by Activision and the developers of Warzone day to day. But it's rare for the company to then reverse course on these decisions. That appears to be the case, however, for the decision to remove Call of Duty: Warzone 2's Resurgence solo queue.
In early Febraury, the official Call of Duty Twitter account posted that Resurgence on Ashika Island would support «All Squad sizes at launch.» This did come to pass as part of Season 2 of Warzone 2, but it wouldn't last. Solo queues for Resurgence have since been removed, though it's not entirely clear why. The mode was available for just four days, leaving just Resurgence Quads available. For players who weren't interested in putting together a group to play Resurgence, there was a lot of anger and frustration.
Call of Duty: Warzone 2 Idea Could Stop False Reports
Without addressing the controversy, or even what set off player frustrations, Call of Duty: Warzone 2 has now reversed course. A tweet from the official Call of Duty Twitter account has announced that «all Resurgence squad sizes» will be returning for the rest of the season with the release of Season 02 Reloaded. Season 02 Reloaded is expected to arrive on March 15.
No explanation for the decision to remove the solo queue for Resurgence was mentioned, but there was a reference to it.
