The Sims 4 got a significant free update this week. One that was promised last year which brings an entirely new life stage to the game, infants. A much-needed stepping stone between babies and children. However, some of The Sims' new infants are growing a little too fast as players have been sharing evidence of a bug that stretches their legs, allowing them to perform tasks that toddlers should really be leaving to their grown-ups.
Rock Paper Shotgun has collated a few examples some of you who have encountered the bug have shared on Reddit and be warned, they are equal parts amusing and horrifying. One screenshot shows a not-so-little one looming large over their toy chest, while another demonstration of the bug in action shows an unattended infant microwaving some pizza rolls.

This isn't the first time Sim babies have been unintentionally stretched. Players encountered a similar problem in The Sims 3. In that instance, babies' faces and torsos were stretched instead of their legs which is arguably even more horrifying. On the bright side, having encountered this bug before, hopefully EA and Maxis know how to fix the problem and stop our little ones from stretching and performing tasks they're far too young to be doing by themselves.
