This week's big news is the ever developing changes to the Work Order System and we look at what it means, the philosophies behind it and what could potentially be done differently. Work Order ChangesWith 10.0.7 came an important change to the Public Work Order system and that was allowing the player to specify whether to include reagents or not. This was in place during early development of the expansion and has been re-introduced to try to bring life into the public work order system which appears to be empty, but in reality any orders get filled instantly. What has developed as a result is a flood of items at negative profit clearly posted as bait items. The general view of the playerbase is that these items are perceived as a scam and negative. While some players are still incentivised to complete these orders in order to skill up, the feedback in the listing system is not clear even with a dialog at the end explaining you might be losing money. Thankfully, u/teelolws has put together an addon that filters out all the orders not providing materials ..

Not being interested in filling any of these, I quickly threw together a small addon that displays the Reagents column so I can easily see which ones actually provide the materials. Today I have added an option to just hide all that nonsense instead. Install this addon, then look for Read more on wowhead.com
