A teaser of the Galaxy Ring was provided at the Mobile World Congress, and Samsung is expected to unveil the health-focused device in July. While we have a boatload of information surrounding the accessory, this is the first time we are looking at the charging case that will top up the Galaxy Ring’s battery. Our impression is that it almost appears futuristic and when you take a gander at it too, you will probably agree with us.
For the most part, Samsung has done well in keeping the Galaxy Ring a secret, but some details still managed to pour through, such as how the device will be an expensive purchase, with potential buyers possibly paying as much as $350. We have also learned that there will be various sizes of the Galaxy Ring since not one customer will have the same-sized finger, which makes complete sense. The biggest version out of all of them could last for up to nine hours, but how exactly will the battery get charged?
Well, thanks to an image shared by Ice Universe, we, and the readers, know exactly how the charging case will look. At first glance, it appears as if Samsung’s designers and engineers took the extra time and resources to make the case as elegant as it possibly could. The accessory looks similar to those watch boxes used to keep your expensive wrist piece as clean as it can before you take it out again. Compared to the Galaxy Buds charging case, the Galaxy Ring’s charging case is more premium.
Unfortunately, the image does not reveal how the Galaxy Ring will charge while placed inside the case, but it is possible that the battery can get topped up wirelessly, and there could also be a port at the back.
