Some of 's boss fights can actually be pretty tough, but even in the most challenging scenarios, there are usually one or two ways to turn the situation to the party's advantage. The turn-based combat system and complex environmental arenas add a lot of flexibility to encounters, making fights much more than just a numbers game. A healthy dose of randomness can still swing things against even the most prepared party, but with a bit of luck, it's usually possible to push through.
One particularly intimidating fight can be found at the Grymforge, where the Adamantine Forge offers the opportunity to forge a powerful weapon or piece of armor that can outdo other options available in Act 1 of the game. Unfortunately for the party, the forge is defended by a golem called Grym, which might seem too powerful and tanky for the party to handle. Luckily, it can be damaged more effectively by overheating it with lava and then slamming it with the forge's massive hammer, making the fight much more manageable for a party in the know.

Even with this tactic, it can still be hard to defeat Grym at the Adamantine Forge without the party's health evaporating first, and that's where a particularly elegant trick comes into play. As described by Reddit user 13Urdt35, it's possible to shoot the wheel that opens the lava valve to start the fight, meaning that the party doesn't have to actually hang around on the battlefield itself. Instead, they can travel down beforehand and set up the forge before fast traveling back to trigger the valve, releasing Grym upon an empty stage.
By staying elevated and sticking to ranged attacks on Grym, even a group of adventurers with meager health pools doesn't have to be at risk of getting downed. Doing chip damage at a distance still isn't as fast as a well-played fight that uses the forge's hammer, but
