Tiger Style Media has released the official trailers for its upcoming martial arts movies, and, which are both set to debut later this month.

Art of Eight Limbs and The Lockdown will both arrive in select theaters as a double feature, starting on August 16. This will then be followed by Art of Eight Limbs’ digital release on August 20. The Ludi Lin-led film is directed by Robert Grasmere from a script written by H. Daniel Gross, Ryan Jaeger, and Louis Spiegler. Besides the Mortal Kombat actor, the action thriller will also star Grace Vorananth, Sahajak Boonthanakit, Vithaya Pansringarm with Nicholas Hammond.
“Lin stars as a CIA data analyst and part-time kickboxer,” reads the synopsis. “Sent on a mission to Myanmar, he must infiltrate a martial arts tournament that serves as a cover for an arms dealer auctioning VX Nerve Gas. His objective: deliver a critical detection device to allies. However, as the mission spirals out of control, he is forced to confront the world’s most ruthless fighters, standing as the last line of defense against a time-ticking global threat.”
As for The Lockdown, the R-rated action movie will also be available to rent or own on digital platforms starting on August 27. It hails from director Ryan Jaeger, who helm the film from a screenplay he co-wrote with Gross, Cameron Cubbison, and Stephen Niver. It is being led by Arrowverse vet Caity Lotz and G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra’s Leo Howard. They will be joined by Michael Biehn and Hon Ping Tang.
