Tekken publisher Bandai Namco and Nike, purveyors of fine footwear, are teaming up for a sneaker collaboration. The fun throwdown is part of the franchise's 30th Anniversary celebrations, and a pair of your own will run you $250 or your local equivalent, likely much more on the sneakerhead black market.
As reported by footwear aficionados Sole Retriever, two pairs of Tekken 8 x Nike Air Foamposite One Fist sneakers are slated for release in September 2024 (thanks, VGC). The designs are based on series staples Kazuya and Jin and will be available through Nike and select retailers. Hypebeasts and fighting game fans will probably snap these up, so if you're a fan of conversation-starting footwear and Tekken, you'll likely want to get in quickly.
Ready? Fight!
What do you think of this collaboration between Bandai Namco and Nike? Will you be fighting for a pair of your own? Make sure to properly care for and maintain the value of your shoes in the comments section below.
