Hulu has debuted the trailer for Season 2, set to premiere on the streamer with two episodes on September 4, 2024.
The Hulu original drama series, dubbed the streaming service’s “sexiest series” to date, follows the tumultuous romance between Lucy Albright and Stephen DeMarco. Set in 2007, the romance drama unfolds the pair’s intoxicating relationship over the course of eight years.
The series is adapted from the 2018 novel of the same name by Carola Lovering, who also serves as the series’ consulting producer.
Now that classes are back in session, Season 2 begins as Lucy and Stephen return to college. Per the official synopsis, “Tell Me Lies Season 2 picks up as Lucy Albright and Stephen DeMarco return to college, not speaking after their dramatic breakup at the start of the summer. Yet while very much at odds, they find themselves in a new version of their addictive dynamic – which is as infuriating as it is inescapable. Meanwhile, the story expands deeper into the lives of Lucy and Stephen’s friend group, as the fallout from Season One impacts all of their lives in unexpected ways.”
