Players currently struggling through Elden Ring's Shadow of the Erdtree expansion can look forward to a new volume in Future Press's Books of Knowledge series, FromSoftware's officially licensed line of hardcover strategy guides. The base game warranted two books of its own, and now the unholy trinity can be made complete for $45 (or your local equivalent), expected to ship on 30th September.
Like the previous two entries, The Lands Between and Shards of Shattering, Shadow of the Erdtree is a comprehensive gameplay guide and an immaculate artbook featuring full-page spreads of landscapes, weapons, and nightmarish foes. At 352 pages, it's a hefty tome and likely to sell out quickly, judging by the speed at which its predecessors walked out of the door.
Probably going to be worth a pretty penny, someday
