According to reliable leaker Midori — best known for their seemingly accurate information on all things Atlus — a sequel to 2021's Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles is currently in development. Of course, this wouldn't come as any real surprise, given that this is basically what developer CyberConnect2 is hired to do. Looking at the studio's long line of Naruto Ninja Storm titles, a follow-up to its Demon Slayer arena fighter always seemed inevitable.
Generally speaking, the Japanese developer is great at building upon its previously released titles, so we'd have full confidence in a much bigger and better sequel. More playable characters, additional game modes… there's a lot that could be done with The Hinokami Chronicles 2.
Licensed anime games are typically put together within the space of two years or so, often because of contractual obligations (although such obligations can obviously vary based on the project's scope). With that in mind, we wouldn't bet against this supposed sequel being announced in the near future.

Robert (or Rob if you're lazy) has been a fan of PlayStation since the 90s, when Tekken 2 introduced him to the incredible world of video games. He still takes his fighting games seriously, but RPGs are his true passion. The Witcher, Dragon Quest, Mass Effect, Final Fantasy, he's played 'em all — a little too much, some might say.
Awesome love the game although I wish that CC2 would just make a BLEACH Storm game already
