An old Weedle Pokemon card was recently found in a school bus from way back in 2001. Pokemon trading cards and other merchandise have been in circulation since the franchise first took the world by storm in the late 90s, and items from those early days can fetch a large amount of money in online auctions and other outlets. Some of the rarest Pokemon cards are valued at over $5 million, making them highly sought after by collectors and nostalgic fans alike.
Sometimes old Pokemon cards can be found in the most unlikely of places years after they were printed, as was the case when a construction worker found a pack of vintage cards lying under the shelves of a closed CVS Pharmacy back in 2002. As mentioned before, this Weedle card was originally part of the Pokemon Trading Card Game Base Set 2, which was the fourth main expansion and was released in February 2000. The Weedle card in question was a reprint from the first Pokemon TCG Base Set and would later be re-released as part of the Legendary
