This July, SkyFest 2024 is taking off in Tokyo and looks like a party fit for the game’s fifth anniversary. Sky: Children of the Light fans worldwide will get to experience the wonder of in-game celebrations as the real life event kicks off.
Consider a Sky Island in real life. Sprinkle in developer discussions, an outlook on Sky: Children Of The Light’s future. Now, here’s your chance to enter the Sky universe! Shinjuku Sumitomo Sankaku Hiroba in Tokyo will host the July 13 and 14 celebrations. Attendees can choose between two sessions each day; in addition, there is plenty to see and do in between.
The Main Stage of SkyFest is its pulsing heart. Here, you may hear straight from the TGC team. The game’s creative director, Jenova Chen, will be present to give an early look at what’s coming up.
The animation project will also be discussed, along with hints about possible new pals you may meet in the game. The event will also have a little stardust added by the adored voice actor and Sky Special Supporter Yuki Kaji.
Furthermore, you can meander around displays featuring its history and artwork, wander through an evocative replica of Aviary Village, or lose yourself in the exquisite artwork that brought Sky: Children Of The Light to life.
There will be a free admission area with themed photo ops, sculptures modeled after in-game landscapes, and even an opportunity to run into TGC employees. Relax in the Sound Bath, or alternatively, browse through thatskshop’s exclusive SkyFest pop-up store.
Japanese residents can enter a lottery to win SkyFest 2024 tickets. Beginning on June 2nd, watch the official Sky: Children Of The Light Game website for information on applications.
Now, the tickets cost ¥3500 per session for adults; however, the price drops to ¥1800 for elementary and junior high school students. If you can obtain a ticket, you will receive a unique SkyFest goodie bag containing mementos, in-game goodies, and a unique cape-like suitcase to hold everything in.
