Activision has just added a Devin Booker bundle to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, as the franchise continues its trend of collaborating with figures in pop culture. The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 bundle includes an operator skin depicting the NBA star and more.
The Devin Booker bundle was first revealed in late April when Call of Duty outlined its Season 3 Reloaded content, although earlier leaks had already hinted at the shooting guard's CoD crossover. Activision is no stranger to working with the NBA, seeing that a Kevin Durant-themed bundle was added to Modern Warfare 2 last year. Both of the NBA stars are apparently avidCall of Duty fans, with Durant recently saying that he still plays the game regularly. Now, Booker can join Durant in donning his own skin while playing the popular shooter.
Call of Duty's official Twitter account posted a one-minute trailer showcasing the new bundle, with clips of Devin Booker talking about his love for the franchise spliced throughout. The D Book Was Here bundle costs 2,400 CoD Points and includes the D Book operator skin, MTZ-762 Sunrise Tracer blueprint, WSP-9 Sunset Tracer blueprint, and a handful of other cosmetic items. Both weapon blueprints play off of Booker's career with the Pheonix Suns by incorporating a multicolored theme that resembles the sky during a sunset or sunrise. The bundle's operator skin depicts Booker in a tuxedo, beanie, and fingerless gloves. Purchasing the bundle also gifts the user with a calling card, charm, sticker, decal, and finishing move, all of which are themed around the pro basketball player.
NBA fans looking to round out their skin collection by also purchasing Call of Duty's Kevin Durant bundle will need to wait for now, as the KD bundle isn't currently available in the store but could be re-added at some point in the future. Other collaborations currently available in CoD's in-game store include bundles themed around Cheech and Chong, Godzilla x Kong, Warhammer 40K, The Walking Dead,
