Having to choose between Clorinde and Alhaitham during 4.7 can be a very real and difficult decision to make, especially considering the limitation on free Primogems made available with every patch. Clorinde is a new 5-star Electro DPS character who had previously appeared as an NPC. Now, however, she joins the playable roster along with Sigewinne and Sethos as the three new playable characters in 4.7. Clorinde uses the Bond of Life debuff mechanic to increase her damage output potential, making her a very menacing unit to use in team comps with Electro at the forefront.
Alhaitham, on the other hand, is making his second rerun in the game. The scholar from Sumeru’s Akademiya is a 5-star Dendro DPS, capable of quickly applying the element on enemies and taking advantage of that to trigger Elemental Reactions with the rest of his teammates. With both units being damage dealers, though with very distinct gameplay kits, they may seem enticing, but having to choose between them could be tough.
