Madame Grape is the last boss of , the final obstacle preventing the theater's restoration. Unlocking her fight will require completing multiple floors of levels, as well as accumulating a few dozen Sparkle Gems. As a reward for this effort, Peach gets one more transformation exclusive to the ultimate boss fight.
Madame Grape's fight will consist of two stages, each with their own distinct play style. In the first half, players will need to avoid a number of different obstacles while accurately aiming star-shaped blasts at Madame Grape. During the second phase, Peach flies around the screen and shoots beams of radiant energy at Madame Grape as she volleys giant grapes towards her.
Before Madame Grape's door can be unlocked, players will need to complete all stages on the fifth floor of the theater. Every basement floor level must also be completed, as all ten Sparklas are needed for the final boss fight. With a modest 30 Sparkle Gem fee, Stella can attempt to open the door before being rudely shut out. However, with the combined powers of the Sparklas, Peach unlocks her final, secret transformation: the energy-blasting Radiant Peach.
During Madame Grape's first stage, the strategy for beating her is fairly simple, especially for bullet hell fans: repeatedly shoot Radiant bursts at her when she is not blocked by her minions, and dodge falling objects. In this segment, Madame Grape will ignite sparklers under Peach, drop progressively growing presents, and charge trains horizontally across the screen.
All of these attacks can be dodged fairly easily, as each attack is telegraphed a few seconds ahead of time (through sparkler smoke, glowing presents, and train lights), giving players enough time to move out of the way if they pay attention.
After seemingly defeating her, Madame Grape reappears in a twist ending, growing to a colossal size and destroying the theater. However, Stella and the Theets empower Peach with more Radiant energy, leading to a -inspired fight
