Alongside Peach's new ensembles in there are also several cosmetic dresses for Peach to unlock and wear throughout the game. To unlock every single dress, players will need to, not only fully complete the game, but also complete some lengthy post-game tasks.
There are 40 different dresses, including the default one in which Peach starts the game. Only a few will be available initially, with the majority hidden behind specific levels and boss fights. Additionally, many of the dresses will still need to be purchased with the in-game currency once they are unlocked for Peach to be able to equip them.
There are several different methods by which dresses will be unlocked. The first method is finding the Ribboner in The Ribboner will appear just one time in every show on every floor, but he won't always have a Peach Dress. When interacting with one of the stage shows, there will either be a ribbon or a bow icon underneath the Sparkle Gems. A ribbon indicates that the Ribboner of that level will have an outfit that can be unlocked for Stella, while a bow indicates that the Ribboner will have a dress for Peach.
Unlocked dresses will typically become available in the lobby shop and can be purchased for either 100, 300, 500, or 1000 Coins. The only dresses Peach will acquire automatically when unlocked are the Ribboner dresses. These dresses will appear directly in the Wardrobe inventory, not the lobby shop.
The other methods for unlocking dresses will include defeating the different bosses on every floor, purchasing from the shop in the theater lobby, and finishing a few completionist tasks. The dresses in the Lobby Shop will require players to use Coins which can be acquired during every stage in So it's important to earn as many Coins as possible while completing the various levels and finding all the Sparkle Gems.
