Nixxes and Guerrilla Games have deployed Horizon Forbidden West Patch 1.3 for PC, packing new features, optimizations, fixes, and visual improvements.
This new patch updates the game to version 1.3.55.0 and includes numerous changes and stability improvements based on feedback from the community. Visual improvements included with this update include improvements to the quality of dust as well as updated support for Intel XeSS version 1.3, improving image quality, and adding the new XeSS native AA option. In addition, the new update improves texture streaming, resulting in reduced memory usage and improved quality. Also, the patch resolves a performance regression issue when enabling NVIDIA Reflex On+ Boost.

Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition, including The Burning Shores expansion, is available now for both PC and PlayStation 5. Of course, the regular version of the game is also available for PlayStation 4. Here's what we wrote about the Forbidden West PC port from Nixxes last month:
Thankfully, Horizon Forbidden West is another solid example of a PC port from the experienced studio based in Utrecht. As we're used to from previous Sony ports, almost the entire breadth of features is available here: Ultrawide support (21:9 and 32:9), NVIDIA DLSS Super Resolution and Frame Generation, NVIDIA Deep Learning Anti-Aliasing, NVIDIA Reflex, AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution, Microsoft DirectStorage, not to mention full support for the DualSense controller's haptic feedback, adaptive triggers, and built-in speaker.
